A local foodie and friend asked me to help her develop her brand and suggest architecture changes for her current site forbacon.co.
After adjusting the current logo, per the clients request, I started my process with an art direction phase. Here, I worked with the client to create a new color scheme, new photography direction, and get a feel for certain UI elements that she liked.
Once the general aesthetic was established, I began the wire framing stage. I made notable improvements including adding the option to filter your recipe search. Once the wireframes were complete, I added what I learned from art direction to create high fidelity mock ups.
I worked along side the client to create a new brand for this food blog, including retouching the current logo, creating custom iconography and choosing a photography style and color scheme. I also completely redesigned current site with desktop and responsive views.
